War and Peace, 2010

About the work:

War and Peace reflects on the turbulent and violent recent past of Chile, Argentina and the Falkland Islands to which incidentally
all the Magellanic Penguin are native. Even in peace the actions of man weigh heavy on the survival of many species as a result of
climate change, land clearing, over fishing and pollution. This work speaks of natures ability to adapt against, and in spite of the
tide of human activity that seeks to strangle it.

Did you Know?

When setting these penguins up at Vaulcuse beach for a photo shoot two passing ladies stopped and
wanted to know how we trained them to stand so still!
